missingWrote a review on Dec 08friendly staffhistorical decorspacious roomuncomfortable mattressdistracting viewpoor cleanliness
I loved the historical decor at Wyndham Gettysburg. It really sets the mood and makes you feel like you're experiencing a slice of history. The staff was super friendly, always ready to help out when I had questions. My room was spacious, but the mattress felt old and uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. The view from my window overlooked some unattractive rooftop machinery, which was disappointing. The heated pool looked inviting, but I didn’t get a chance to try it out during my stay. Breakfast was decent, but I found it a bit pricey. I wish they offered more affordable options. Overall, I appreciated the convenient location near attractions, but the room's cleanliness could use improvement—there were some issues with the draining sink I noticed upon arrival. The atmosphere soothed the spirit, but discomfort from the sleeping arrangements kept my rating from being higher.

The hotel was like stepping into a Civil War-themed wonderland—complete with a lobby cannon that made me feel like I was dodging bullets instead of checking in. The king premier suite was spacious and comfortable, with a shower large enough to hold a family reunion inside. Even the decor had a quirky charm, resembling an antique shop that decided to throw a historical party.
